  • Clutch cable problems. Some clutches rely on a cable to connect the clutch pedal to the springs. Cables need adjustment as they stretch over a vehicle’s lifetime, they have been known to break in extreme circumstances.
  • Slipping clutch. Caused by issues including worn springs or friction material on the clutch disk. Slipping is when the clutch no longer remains in perfect contact with the flywheel when in use.
